When developing concrete structures, special concrete spacers are required. Concrete spacers play an enormously important role in the process.

To prevent displacement of the reinforcement, lightweight and durable concrete spacers are used. There are different types of concrete spacers for both horizontal and vertical reinforcement. They are used to create a standard distance between the various reinforcement bars and/or meshes to avoid contact with the ground or formwork. This is ultimately done to achieve the correct distance between the reinforcement and the concrete cover. There are also spacers to precisely position a single reinforcement in the middle of an element. The spacers are designed not to shift or come loose during concrete pouring. They are manufactured from strong and flexible polyethylene.
