Repra GFRP-ForceX
At Repra BV, we offer high-quality Glass Macrofiber GFRP (Repra GFRP-ForceX) – an advanced glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) macrofiber that provides a sustainable alternative to traditional reinforcement such as steel fibers, reinforcement meshes, and rebar.
Strong, Lightweight, and Corrosion-Resistant
Our Glass Macrofiber GFRP has a tensile strength > 1103 MPa and is highly chemically resistant, making it ideal for concrete structures exposed to heavy loads and aggressive environments. Thanks to its lightweight structure and high performance, this fiber reinforcement ensures a longer lifespan and reduced maintenance for concrete structures.
Easy Application and Perfect Mixing
The fibers can be added to the concrete mix at any time, but we recommend doing this at the concrete plant for optimal distribution. For the best results, a mixing time of 3 to 5 minutes at maximum speed is recommended. This ensures even distribution and minimal impact on the workability of the concrete.
Versatile Applications
Glass Macrofiber GFRP is used for a wide range of concrete constructions, including:
- High-quality industrial floors with extremely strong joints
- Thin-walled precast elements (such as septic tanks and walls)
- Shotcrete for tunnels, pool constructions, and slopes
- Driveways, sidewalks, and parking floors
- Docks, agricultural slabs, and foundations
FIRE RESISTANCE
Fiberglass reinforcement offers excellent fire-resistant properties due to the heat resistance and non-combustible nature of glass fibers. With a melting temperature of around 800°C, fiberglass remains stable at high temperatures, contributing to the safety and integrity of concrete structures during a fire. Unlike traditional reinforcement materials like steel, fiberglass does not quickly lose its strength when exposed to heat. This makes it ideal for applications in situations where fire safety is a priority, such as industrial buildings, parking garages, and infrastructure.
